had a fascinating lunch last week with Matt Hanson who is one of the members on
www.dreamstake.ning.com. We talked a lot
about his ‘Swarm of Angels’ concept and recognised some parallels with what I
am trying to achieve on DreamStake.
Matt is a film-maker who is using the collective input from his social network
to make a movie. The venture is even funded by the members.
Personally, I love this business model and see it as a way forward for
DreamStake where entrepreneurs will be able to participate in each others ventures
either through sweat equity or my providing modest amounts of funding. This
will really democratise the whole process and promote a meritocracy as the
better projects attract more interest from the crowd.
