depends on a number of things, namely the structure of the site and the
platform you’re built on.

are running a classic business site, maybe with 5-6 links to deep content, then
you should look at a Content Management System like Drupal or Joomla. If your
site includes a lot of regularly updated content you might want to consider
using a blog as a platform (e.g. Wordpress or Typepad).

a general principle though you shouldn’t be needing to pay an expensive
designer to make text changes – you should be able to do it from an admin
interface.

I only have some experience with BaseCamp (
target="_blank">www.basecamphq.com), which is good and streamlined if it
does what you want. I manage most project locally on my Mac the old fashioned
way with Merlin as my PM software.

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer for a startup that understands and
preferably has experience in IT, mainly writing and protecting sites with terms
and conditions as well as privacy (not that my sites do anything wrong – I just
want to be covered properly).
I have a couple of private startups and want these things sorted and basically
have a lawyer to work with when needed.
Or any other suggestion about having good terms and conditions written up is
appreciated.
Email me directly if you do not want to post details to the list.
Thanks
