I've bumped into quite a few programmers at the meetups and wondered

if anybody would be interested in a paid project lasting until

November? Earning money is king in the current environment.

The project's a scientific one requiring display on screen of data

captured probably through PC serial port. There is a fixed occasion

for which this software is required, so there's a clear limit to the

length of work required.
It'll pay a fair rate for a programmer's work in the meantime, but

clearly is not the sort of thing that has the budget to pay agency

rates or overheads. Furthermore, it needs to be somebody in the south

east as they will have to visit to install the work and therefore not

suitable for being done overseas.
