Let me tell you my personal experience.
I signed up about 7 days ago – just plain and simple
registration, nothing else. Had a brief look at the site and decided to check
out details after long meeting. Came back from the meeting and saw my inbox
flooded with about 24 emails – I never logged back into the site again and
redirected all emails to junk. I had never subscribed to any email lists nor
consented to one.
When someone shouts in caps "PLEASE STOP COPYING ME
INTO … " , it would help if the moderators took their feedback to
improve the service and not treat them as dummies.

your comments appear pedantic, completely unnecessary and in poor taste.

I’ve been on this list a number of months and can only reach the
conclusion that a lot of wannabee / existing entrepreneurs are qualifying
themselves out of any serious consideration by any potential
investors/partners/collaborators etc by showing their inability to read simple
instructions.
If I was an angel/investor on this list, I would never part with
cash to someone who cannot understand the simple principle of how this email
list works and how to get off it again…
Just also an opportunity to say that I find this service really
valuable, I’ve taken much from the conversations and used directly or
indirectly with regards to my business.
Thank you to everyone who makes the effort to reply and add
value. I won’t waste any more of your time…
