A quick question
on blue chip opportunities. Given that most organisations have completed data
warehousing and have decent BI apps, where is the opportunity for web developers
when dealing with CIOs? Is it through customer/ vendor facing external apps that
feed into the appropriate date warehouse? What other potential opportunities are
there? Keen to speak to companies operating in this area (in addition
to those involved in my other areas of interest in the games/online
consumer markets).

I am focusing on
identifying the top 5 opportunities across all sectors right now. Work
doesn’t just stop because of the current financial situation but it does get
smarter. I think we’ll see some fine-tuning of existing apps, outsourcing of
entire departments (training being one) and ‘related innovation’ i.e taking
something that works to a new area.
