Members club to run my start up from…

Hi Gareth

Your points are very valid. That is why we
have such a broad range of clubs and we are now adding a more daytime friendly
working environment to the mix. We understand that some clubs are perfect for
drinks with friends and some for quiet meetings. Yes, a Prêt can work,
especially if you feel your company is “column fodder” and you don’t
want to waste your money, or you know them well, but nothing impresses as much
as a stylish venue – somewhere like Club Eight in the city, however, this
is very masculine place and might not suit everyone. That’s why we offer
a membership for £99 to cover all areas – but we are not soley for the private
clubs.

We specalise in supporting the
entrepreneur and this year we joined forces with E-Factor href="http://www.efactor.com/" title="blocked::http://www.efactor.com/">www.efactor.com
and this is our community site. We have joined forces as it fits in so nicely
with our membership.

Our membership includes:

  • color=navy face=Arial>Networking
and seminars every 6 weeks with guest speakers and workshops
  • color=navy face=Arial>Outstanding
    rates at hotels and spas
  • color=navy face=Arial>Independent
    travel service
  • color=navy face=Arial>Automotive
    team
  • color=navy face=Arial>VIP
    events
  • color=navy face=Arial>Tickets
  • color=navy face=Arial>Golf
packages, where member plays for free at over 1,500 courses, of that 50 of
    the worlds top 100.
  • color=navy face=Arial>24
hour concierge service to organise all this!

I hope this helps you understand that we
offer so much more than guest list entry to clubs

Jo

I have mainly been lurking and this is my 2cents worth:

you seems to want to kill two birds with one stone,

1) private members club, sadly the name/category has been devalued
somewhat in the last years, previously, most clubs need sponsors &
committee approval/votes to be able to join. one good example is the oriental
club (where there are still man & women dinning rooms!)

reality is that now there are many purely a ‘location’ and hence even
top guys at certain ‘clubs’ don’t really mingle, but go there to ‘meet at my
club’.. so, if you join a club to hope to meet others, most likely you will be
meeting others like yourself, just like paying thousands to go to major or not
so good conferences, key guys just speak to themselves (i.e. existing
contacts), and even if you meet them, the trust might not be there..

most guys also have their own preferences

2.) office space/desk

there are eOffice, regus & variants..

also offer some kind of networking..

fact of the matter is that you need to know what you want/need, and get
the best option for that, as in reality, it might just be the local
pret-a-manger (who offers free wifi now) in Soho (for creatives), and some
good research, you might meet CEOs of some major firms..

in short, try before you buy if you can.

Hi,

Does anyone know in London,
a member Only bar/café/club , with Wifi, AV facilities, meeting rooms, nice bar
where I can have meetings , café area where I could nearly run my startup from
.

Something similar to Hospital in Coven Garden.I know they
charge between £300 and 550 per year, which is reasonable for what it offers
and I believe a good alternative to desk space for very early stage start ups
like mine, but was wondering if there was anywhere else in town before I break
the bank

Hi all

Can
anyone help with recommendations for contact management software systems for
tracking support emails & calls.

In
particular any open source ones?

I am
anticipating relatively low volumes, but they will be managed by more than one
person?

Many
thanks
