Members club to run my start up from…

IoD 116 doesn’t allow jeans (or bike leathers) but 123 does.

I’ve never met any pretentious members there, a few of the
staff, maybe, and some of the guests…

Yep, great venue, but
they won't let you in if you're wearing jeans - not exactly entrepreneur
friendly. Bloody pretentious people! :) Besides there's always loads of people
there so you won't have much peace and quiet.

There's also London Chamber of Commerce, who will for I think about £500 a
year (please correct me if I'm wrong) let you have free access to their cafe
area with wifi, and let you in on a number of open networking meetings. There's
almost always enough space there to work.

I would definitely check out the Hub Culture's London Pavilion on Carnaby
Street/ Kingly Court.

£10 a day or £29 a month - free coffee :-)

Chic, modern and personal. Great staff.

Sorry, I have quite a lot of experience in this area (I never normally get
involved!) You are total right, completely different crowd depending on the
venue and the crowd are quite "typical" depending on location in London,
trendy media, slick city, old boys club, bubble entrepreneur, hoxton hotties

Forget Soho House - it's a fab place and I work closely with the group as a
whole but the waiting list is still huge. The Soho space simply isn't big
enough to cope with demand and you will find it almost impossible to find a
quiet space for breakfast meetings - choca-block!

Hi,

I have been to all 3 (Adam Street/Hospital/Fox Club) as well as Soho House.
I would recommend all of them, but the main thing to think about is who you
want to possibly meet and who are present members as they are all different
groups of individuals!

Kind Regards

James

A lot of people I know use the Adam Street club for this type of thing,
no idea about their pricing.

FOX club on Clarges Street is my club of choice (closest to the office
on Hill Street), although I've never actually checked out their meeting
rooms.

Hi,

Does anyone know in London, a member Only bar/café/club , with Wifi, AV
facilities, meeting rooms, nice bar where I can have meetings , café
area where I could nearly run my startup from .

Something similar to Hospital in Coven Garden.I know they charge between
£300 and 550 per year, which is reasonable for what it offers and I
believe a good alternative to desk space for very early stage start ups
like mine, but was wondering if there was anywhere else in town before I
break the bankJ

Thanks

Samuel

Hi all

Can anyone help with recommendations for contact management software
systems for tracking support emails & calls.

In particular any open source ones?

I am anticipating relatively low volumes, but they will be managed by
more than one person...

Many thanks

Paul
