However, given that LBA, OION, SWAIN, CA, CC and other orgs
already provide exposure to over £200m a year of Angel and seed investment, I
would have expected a list of attending funds / outline of the investor group
at least.

TechWorld Event
Hi Ralph and Geoff,
It is not good business to make false accusations and assumptions as this is
gravely offending. A scam does not post a person real name and details and also
PayPal provide protection against those kind of things.
I am not aware of what type of venture you are involved in but this is not a
good branding for you. You have to understand that some people are actually
doing the best to help the community too.
I perfectly understand the need to provide the list of companies showcasing but
how can I do so when I just launched the invitation a few hours ago. You should
be aware of the protocol, people have to sign up first to be part of a
final list of exhibitors. A list of companies will be provided on the London
Startup 2.0 group site once the companies have taken all the presentation slots.
We are still finalizing the list of the panelist which will also be ma
available through the group site. If this is some malice to deter people form
joining, then it is not the smartest thing someone can do.
About the price, the information is provided as to avoid the "no
show-ers" from taking up spaces. As mentioned in previous posts, locations
are not provided free of charge and we want to do our best to provide more
businesses as much opportunities to showcase their product as possible.
I looking forward to seeing you guys there and maybe we can clear-up the air.
See you all.
Regards,
Armel
P.S. SCAMMERS DO NOT PROVIDE TRACEABLE INFORMATION ABOUT THEMSELF

But where is the list of the attendees and the people on the
panel?
That must be the most vital piece of information an entrepreneur would want to
see.
Perhaps it’s just me, but….
