Hi Stony,
I appreciate the sentiments behind your posting. And
believe me I did question whether this was appropriate for this listing. Having
been to 5 or 6 meet up’s I reached the conclusion that in this particular
instance i.e. a genuine start-up opportunity of which I have access to through
my contacts which I figured certain individuals in the group could well be
interested in (as has proved to be the case) – I felt it worth putting
out there.
I’d be interested in mature comment as to whether
the group would feel being made aware of early stage opportunities like this is
indeed appropriate on this list (for future reference).
Kind Regards,

Hi Mike
Perhaps you can help us. We’re seeking a talented Lead corporate recruiter for
an engaging and worthwhile message board. Duties will include going through my
inbox and deleting spam (ahem), and provide stress-massages for when I get
frustrated about recruiters sending me random messages and wasting my time.
In all seriousness, there is already mixed opinion on this board regarding
people posting about looking for work for themselves. I’m going to guess
(though I speak for no-one but myself) that we don’t want this board to turn
into one more tool for recruiters throwing any opening they might find at us
and hoping something sticks. If a line has to be drawn in the sand regarding
job-openings and positions wanted, it might be between individuals looking for
themselves and recruiters engaged in business for others.
What other people think about this, I’m listening.
