Trying not to toot my own horn too much, perhaps some of my clients on this list will do that for me, I do have an eighteen person team working with me in Krakow, Poland where we build web apps, mostly using Ruby on Rails. We've done dozens of successful projects since we started in 2004, several of which have been blogged by TechCrunch, Mashable, and one appeared on MSNBC. I aimed to differentiate on quality and I think I've succeeded. At least, we haven't disappointed a client yet. I hired only the best developers I could find, create a great work environment so I have almost no turnover, and everyone I hire speaks fluent English so they can talk directly to clients (essential, since we use an agile process). I'm trying to get to London at least every couple of months, but I regret that I can't come for next week's OpenCoffee.
I'll try to make an OpenCoffee in late October if anyone wants to talk face to face, but I'll be happy to talk by phone or Skype if anyone's interested in seeing if our way of building web apps is right for them.
